Temporary Part time Finance Administrator GBP17.00phr

Our client is a UK based agency representing artists working in the fashion, editorial and advertising sectors.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Working 3 days a week, providing assistance to and reporting to the Financial Controller, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of key functions of the Finance department and the organisation as a whole. You will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside the Sales and Events teams to produce accurate invoices in a timely, efficient manner
  • Performing basic credit control functions
  • Coding and entering purchase invoices
  • Weekly bank entries and reconciliations and transactions
  • Assisting the Financial controller with:
  • Monthly management accounts and forecasts
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Monthly payroll
  • Various other duties

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least two years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working within a team
  • Ideally part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience with accounting software and Excel and Xero a must
  • Must have proven technical proficiency.

Salary and Benefits:

  • GBP30,000
  • GBP17.00 per hour
