Our client is seeking a Temporary Receptionist to cover holiday for the following dates:
- Week commencing 22nd April 2024 - Monday to Friday
Working in their reception area, you will be meeting and greeting visitors, answering the switchboard, dealing with post and any deliveries, and taking messages.
Working in a professional and well-established business, our client seeks a person with suitable skills. Only candidates with previous reception experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background along with excellent MS Office skills.
Main accountabilities of the role will be:
- Meeting and greeting visitors
- Answering the telephones
- Taking messages
- Dealing with the post
- General administrative duties
- Making refreshments
- Franking of post and taking to the post office (will leave at 4.45pm)
- Arranging for couriers to deliver items to site
- Monitoring emails
About you:
- You must have excellent communication skills
- A good telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Be IT literate using MS Office
Hours/days of work are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday 9am to 3:30pm, with half an hour for lunch (1pm - 1:30pm).
