SalaryOur client is looking for an Senior Accounts Assistant to join their well-established manufacturing company based in Irlam, on a temporary ongoing basis for the next 12 months.
Location: Irlam
Hourly Rate: £15.38 - £17.58
Hours: Full Time / Monday – Friday 9am -5pm
Job Description
- Producing new supplier accounts
- Processing invoices and credit notes for suppliers
- Dealing with any supplier queries
- Creating a weekly payment forecast to the Finance Manager for cash flow reporting
- Arranging, reconciling and submitting quaterly VAT Return to HMRC
- Creating new supplier accounts
- Revising month-end processes, reports and reconciliations, which involce the prepartions of journal entries (Stock, Creditors, Bank & Nominal Ledgers, Debtors)
- Processing supplier payments and recording bank details
The Successful Candidate
- You must have stong attention to detail
- Experience with working on Microsoft Excel
- Excellent team player as well as being flexiable and adaptable to the needs of the business
- Strong communication skills
What’s On Offer
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE
- Hours: Full Time / Monday – Friday
