Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a social housing organisation, based in Nottinghamshire, with their recruitment of a Tenancy Services Manager.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a high-performing, customer centric team, to deliver a high quality housing service to their residents.
What will you do in the role?
- Reporting to the Head of Housing, the Tenancy Services Manager has direct responsibility for the delivery of a high-quality housing and neighbourhood management service to customers. You will lead on improving services to deliver the best outcomes for residents as well as being committed to engaging residents in decision-making
- You will be responsible for tenancy/estate management, income collection/recovery, tenancy support and sustainment and consumer regulation requirements.
- To ensure that the services delivered within the section are compliant with the relevant housing law, legislation and regulatory regime, including reviewing guidance, reports, standards and outcomes from the Regulator and Housing Ombudsman to ensure ongoing compliance.
Who would excel in this role?
- You will be a strong communicator with a successful track record in leading continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance as well as a good understanding of the regulatory framework
- You will have experience of working in the social housing sector, with a good working knowledge of effective tenancy and income management and experience of delivering a range of related services. You will need to have a clear grasp of housing management at both operational and strategic level.
- You will be qualified to degree level, or equivalent and will also be a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing or working towards (or hold) a relevant qualification as specified by Housing Regulation
