As a Test Engineer, with experience in the TV/media sector, you role as part of a team is to verify and confirm that, TV devices submitted by all TV device manufacturers meet the required requirements for connected TV applications on those devices.
It is important that you ensure there is a consistent and fair approach to testing, all devices must be tested in the same test environment on site.
The team is made up of 12 x testers, 1 x Product Owner and 1 x Delivery Manager.
Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work based experience.
- Proven experience as a Tester with a focus on TV/media-related projects.
- Very good working knowledge of standard software testing frameworks, techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with providing coaching and mentoring
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios.
- Knowledge of software development tools and technologies.
- You are flexible and curious in your approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Essential Skills:
You will:
- have good awareness and experience using Git and working with AWS or equivalent Cloud platforms
- be able to communicate with 3rd party TV manufacturers
- have testing skills in:
- TV domain experience
- Media testing experience
- Device Testing skills and experience
- Third Party or Client engagement experience
