Third Party Assist Claims Handler

• Hybrid 80% homeworking available and 20% from our office in Glasgow. The hours of work are 35 hours per week and will typically be between, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm with 1 Saturday per month 9am-2pm.

We are currently seeking a skilled Third PartyClaims Handler to join our dynamic Third Party Assist team in Glasgow. In this role, you will have the opportunity to actively engage with non-fault third parties to understand their requirements and provide them with exceptional service.

As a Third PartyClaims Handler you will proactively contact non-fault third parties to establish their needs, administer prompt deployment of services from NFUM’s approved supplier network and promote NFUM as a brand to Third Party potential customers to maximise future insurance sale opportunities and increase customer base. You will also be responsible for retaining claims and progressing them to closure.

You'll love exceeding customers expectations and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You'll have strong organisational and time management skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

You'll be able to prioritise and manage your workload displaying strong organisational and planning skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic, ideally experienced in third-party capture or outbound sales within the insurance industry.

• Strong verbal communications


• Strong negotiation, questioning and decision-making skills


• Proficient IT skills and use of Microsoft Office 365
