The main focus of the job is to operate ticket sales. Up selling tickets to customers and identifying the best suited product for their needs. This role will need someone confident and outgoing, happy to get to know customers to ensure that they are getting the best service or event for their needs and budget.
You will be required to become familiar with our product offerings, tours, and shows in the west end in order to best inform customers of products they may not be aware of. You will receive full training across all our selling platforms.
There is an expectation that you should be utilising downtime in the box office proactively. This includes but is not limited to; Running the Instagram and engaging through our social media channels, reaching out to schools and other local businesses, leafleting and canvassing, creating promotional materials for the box office.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build their experience in sales and customer service whilst gaining experience in other aspects including social media and content creation. As this is an independent role, you are expected to be self-motivated and keen to grow your skills as an independent worker.
Core responsibilities;
- Being front of house for ticket sales, this includes theatre tickets, London bus tours and out of London tours.
- Remaining informed of new shows, products and services
- Maintaining a high standard of customer care; being knowledgeable and informative for any questions the customer may have
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone calls or email, promptly and politely
- Encouraging customers to leave reviews on our services and responding to these reviews
- Cash handling and accuracy of sales records
- Regular posting of Social Media content on our Instagram
- Creating merchandising for the shop to keep customers informed on products and services including posters and leaflets etc
- Maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers
- Maintaining a clean workspace
Additional responsibilities may include;
- Organising group bookings
- Working on outreach strategies to grow visibility of the business
- Engaging with local businesses to create partnerships
- Reconciliation of orders including invoices from providers

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
