Reed are please to be partnered with a leading mid-tier 16 Partner firm, assisting them in their search for a Trainee Accountant to join their Theatre department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their Theatre department as an Accounts Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in the industry and a desire to progress their career in finance within a dynamic and creative environment.

Day to Day of the role:

• Input and process invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
• Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash receipts, and prepare journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of basic management accounts, including variance analysis.
• Support senior staff with analysis and preparatory work for client accounts.
• Develop a basic understanding of tax principles, personal tax rules, and PAYE.
• Communicate effectively with the team to meet client and Partner expectations.
• Liaise with clients to progress jobs and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Contribute to team initiatives and engage in firm-wide knowledge sharing.
• Support marketing initiatives and advocate the firm’s values.
• Take responsibility for personal learning and development, including professional qualifications.
