Due to expansion, Interaction Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our client based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Based in their offices in Central Huntingdon, working within an established team, your typical duties include:
- Inputting payroll for weekly paid temporary workers
- Payroll administration, amending Tax Codes, Issuing payslips, processing holiday pay, issuing P45/P60 and P11D's
- Dealing with payroll queries both internally and externally
- Supporting credit control to chase outstanding invoices
- Resolving invoice queries
- Raising credit notes where required
- Other adhoc duties to support the team
Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills:
- Ideally studying towards an AAT Qualification
- Knowledge or interest in pursuing a role within accounts - any relevant UK experience would be advantageous
- Team player with a flexible attitude
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Ability to be organised and manage own workload
- IT Literate - experience of Microsoft Excel would be advantageous
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Full or part time hours will be considered - this is also a fully office based role, but parking will be provided.
