We are seeking a motivated Trainee IT Technical Support person to join our team in Inverness. The successful candidate will play a key role in our digital transformation journey, ensuring the efficiency of our systems, managing user demands, and continually enhancing customer satisfaction. This role will be ideal for a recent IT graduate or someone who is keen and willing to develop their IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Deploy, develop, and maintain Office 365 applications.
- Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades.
- Communicate with clients and computer users to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide technical support by investigating, diagnosing, and resolving software and hardware faults.
- Repair equipment and replace faulty parts as necessary.
- Participate in infrastructure planning and installation.
- Plan, install, and maintain CCTV systems.
- Travel and stay overnight occasionally as required.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of business systems, Office 365, and network infrastructure.
- Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and methodical approach to tasks.
- Must have strong literacy skills with the ability to present information clearly.
- Full UK driving license.
- Positive attitude towards new challenges and change.
