Job Title: Trainee Maths Teacher (SEND)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking two dynamic and enthusiastic Trainee Maths Teachers to join TimePlan Education and work in an SEN school in Southampton. One position is to start as soon as possible and the other in September. As a trainee, you will work closely with experienced educators to develop your teaching skills while making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students with various learning needs.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with the SEN team to create individualised education plans for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Enthusiasm for working with students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable Qualifications:

• PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification (or in progress / willing to complete).
• Previous experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Knowledge of current SEN policies and practices.
