Trainee Solicitor – Maguire Solicitors (3 Positions Available – June 2024)
Maguire Solicitors are actively recruiting three new Trainee Solicitors to join their Glasgow West End office and begin their traineeships in June 2024.
The role will predominantly involve training and experience in all aspects of asylum and immigration law, with opportunities to diversify and obtain experience in other areas of law also available. Candidates who demonstrate a genuine interest in human rights law will be preferred.
Working in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will be hardworking, motivated, passionate, and able to demonstrate initiative working both independently and collaboratively as part of our experienced and legally qualified team.
It is essential that candidates hold an LLB degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice awarded by an accredited university prior to commencement of the traineeship.
Previous legal working experience and an understanding of Legal Aid is preferred but is not essential.
Salary is at the Law Society of Scotland’s recommended rates.
