About the role
Butterfly Shift - Week 1 - (Sunday Wednesday & Thursday) Week 2 - (Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday) 0630-1830
We are looking for a dynamic, goal driven person to join our Dry Freight Team. The Transport Planner works as part of a small team and in line with DFDS, and our customer KPI’s, to plan structured and cost-efficient delivery schedules throughout NI. A high standard of customer service, attention to detail, accurate reporting and effective communication is essential.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning the route of over 30 vehicles a day
- Ensuring they get to their destinations on time.
- Working part of a team to solve problems whilst conducting root cause analysis and driving improvements.
- Vessel bookings
- Oversee sub-contractors & drivers within this role.
About you
- You must have solid experience of using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word
- We need you to be self-motivated with an ability to deal with fast-changing environments and the ability to be flexible.
