Transactional Finance Supervisor role within an industry leading business based in Nantwich. This role will offer a salary up to £32,000 depending on experience.

Description

Transactional Finance Supervisor duties include:

• Manage the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger teams ensuring that their duties are successfully completed
• Providing guidance, support and coaching to all team members
• Be the point of contact for supplier liaison and relationship maintenance for large suppliers
• Manage the payment runs in terms of timing and amount to maximise working capital
• Attend weekly cashflow meeting explaining any variances to information previously provided
• Complete purchase ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations and save down for FC to review
• Manage the month end invoice run ensuring all invoices are priced and there are no errors
• Continually monitor aged debt position understanding all balances and manage plan to recover over due debt
• Drive process improvements within own team and wider business
• Managing the completion of transactional based audit requests
• Hold weekly team meetings for Credit Control and Purchase ledger
• Hold 121's with all direct reports every 2 weeks

Profile

The candidate will have/be:

• Proven experience managing an AP team - Required
• Proven ability to manage teams to meet deadlines and targets - Required
• Strong understanding of AP function - Required
• Excellent communication skills - Required
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
• Confident, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail - Required
• Ability to identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to resolve - Required
