About The Role
- Stakeholder Management: You will build wide stakeholder relationships across MO, as well as across the largest dealer groups and within OEMs, creating opportunities to bring MO and our partners closer together and leverage these relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Strategic Development: You will seek future strategies to ensure MO thrives in a changing automotive landscape; you will develop strategies and plans for MO integration of any OEM changes to their distribution structures, such as direct supply, “agency”, e-commerce or direct to customer strategies; you will then lead the delivery of such plans. Regarding electric vehicles, you will work with Vehicle Manufacturers as well as other MO depts to develop proactive opportunities that will aid the transition of scheme customers to electric vehicles where suitable.
- Project Management: You will have specific responsibility for managing and delivering MNP strategic initiatives and projects; these will include the key MO projects of EV Dealer Customer Experience, Agency supply and of D2C supply development; ensuring our transition to Electric and our adoption of new distribution supply is seamless and frictionless, delivering exceptional customer service. Cross-functional collaboration and strategic vision will need to balance with accurate operational delivery to bring the company to the correct go live positions.
- Financial Control: You will work with Finance and other MO depts to ensure accurate construction of financial business cases to support the delivery of strategic projects and will manage any budgets associated with the delivery of those projects.
- Customer satisfaction: You will develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction through Dealer Groups and Vehicle Manufacturers to deliver the best possible customer experience for Motability scheme users.
- Scheme Sustainability: You will work closely with areas of MO to develop strategies that ensure the sustained profitability of OEN and dealer partners and thereby the continued delivery of scheme requirements, be they supply, pricing, customer experience or any other partner supplied part of the scheme provision.
- Operational Improvement: You will support the development of performance improvement strategies across both Dealer and Manufacturer teams, including reporting and insight analysis-based business development planning.

- Wide knowledge of the automotive industry (Understands the structural changes within automotive industry and the impact on Manufacturers, dealers and MO)

- Innovatively and clearly communicates commercial and business benefits which deliver workable proposals and solutions
- Takes account of wider impact of decisions on other key stakeholders including customers, VRM, Dealers & Motability
