Full Job Description

JT Recruit are currently looking for a Temporary Transport Administrator for our client based in Chesterfield. 

This would be a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working hours will be 06:00am - 17:00pm. 

Work Consists of:

• Planning routes ensuring compliance with driver’s hours and working time directive legislation
• Updating fleet requirements
• Using geographical knowledge to maximise the fleet ability to work
• Supervising and managing driver workloads
• Liaise with drivers over the phone and face to face to resolve any issues that arise

The Candidate:

• Previous experience of working as a Transport Administrator within a busy, fast paced transport office
• Manual planning experience
• Outstanding geographical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service
• A knowledge of tachograph regulations

Rates of Pay:

• £12.00 - £13.00 p/h
