The client is seeking a Transport Administrator / Coordinator to join their team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave the duration of the role will be a minimum of 6 months however could be longer depending upon when someone joins the team. This role will be working within a small team and will give you the opportunity to hold some responsibility and autonomy as well, as planning and managing the delivery process for the customer.

Job Description:
- Planning & arranging transportation of manufactured goods
- Booking in deliveries with customers
- Achieving the best cost-effective shipments by utilizing the software.
- Multi-tasking which requires strong attention to detail & administrative skills
- Preparing driver's delivery notes
- Liaising with Production & Customer service to ensure OTIF is achieved
- Quote jobs for overseas deliveries and arrange once manufactured
- Data input for the delivery log must be accurate & up to date
- KPI s & despatch analysis
- Excellent customer service background and communication skills
- Well-organised individual someone who is used to multi-tasking
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong admin skills
- Good MS Office skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Someone who can evidence adaptability
- A well-motivated individual who can work well on their own initiative or within a team
- Geographical knowledge would be an advantage
Salary: GBP25,000 Per Annum
