Our Client, based in Stoke on Trent, are a very well established and thriving company that supply products to the public and private sectors.
They are currently recruiting for a Transport Administratorto join their team in Trentham, on a fixed term contract until approx. October 2024.
Duties:
- Planning & arranging transportation of manufactured goods.
- Booking in deliveries with customers.
- Achieving the best cost effective shipments.
- Multi-tasking which requires strong attention to detail & administrative skills.
- Preparing drivers delivery notes.
- Liaising with Production & Customer service to ensure OTIF is achieved.
- Quote jobs for overseas deliveries and arrange once manufactured.
- Data input for delivery log must be accurate & up to date.
- KPI s & despatch analysis.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Customer service Experience.
- Administrative experience.
- Adaptability.
- Ability to manage multitasking.
- Strong organisation & time keeping skills.
- Confident with Excel.
- Motivated / use own initiative.
- Geographic experience would be beneficial.
- Must be able to work alone & within a small team.
Hours of work:
- Monday - Friday 8:30-17:00
