Transport Administrator

Our Client, based in Stoke on Trent, are a very well established and thriving company that supply products to the public and private sectors.

They are currently recruiting for a Transport Administratorto join their team in Trentham, on a fixed term contract until approx. October 2024.

Duties:

• Planning & arranging transportation of manufactured goods.
• Booking in deliveries with customers.
• Achieving the best cost effective shipments.
• Multi-tasking which requires strong attention to detail & administrative skills.
• Preparing drivers delivery notes.
• Liaising with Production & Customer service to ensure OTIF is achieved.
• Quote jobs for overseas deliveries and arrange once manufactured.
• Data input for delivery log must be accurate & up to date.
• KPI s & despatch analysis.

• Customer service Experience.
• Administrative experience.
• Adaptability.
• Ability to manage multitasking.
• Strong organisation & time keeping skills.
• Confident with Excel.
• Motivated / use own initiative.
• Geographic experience would be beneficial.
• Must be able to work alone & within a small team.

Hours of work:

• Monday - Friday 8:30-17:00
