Transport Manager

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1. Fleet management for optimal utilisation and reduced downtime.
2. Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with legal requirements.
3. Plan and optimise multi-drop delivery routes.
4. Supervise loading and departure of delivery vehicles.
5. Ensure timely and cost-effective customer order deliveries.
6. Assess and organise resource requirements.
7. Monitor and manage transportation costs.
8. Implement company policies and procedures.
9. Motivate and ensure proper training for all drivers.
10. Enforce driver performance standards.
11. Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
12. Coordinate with other departments for efficient resource utilisation.

SALARY: £35,000 per annum
