Bedford
40 hours per week. Working 8 hours per day, predominantly around the core hours of 8am and 6pm on a Monday to Friday basis however flexibility required to work outside of these times to suit business needs.

We are now recruiting for a Transport Shift Manager to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for morning dispatch and daily driver debriefs:
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for compliance of all vehicles and drivers.
- Providing skills required to deliver to customers on time and in full.
- Providing high quality services to suit customer needs.
- Providing support for distribution teams to ensure smooth running of operations.
- Making sure all site objectives are met whilst not compromising on health and safety.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
- Seeing the vehicles and crew out in the morning and overseeing the return of all vehicles and crews.
- To be the point of contact for all real time delivery issues for the crews and to communicate with customer services.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience supervising or leading within transport or a logistics network.
- Experience within transport compliance.
- Customer Service.
- IT literate.
- Manual Handling.
- IOSH certification beneficial however not required.
- Transport Manager CPC beneficial however not required.
