About the role
In our busy Sales team you will be taking control of inbound customer enquiries, matching their dream villa holiday requirements to our stunning portfolio of over 2000 villas. You will ensure they have a hassle free holiday by arranging items such as flights, villa extras, car hire, private transfers for their booking.
Key day to day tasks include:
- Working towards sales targets for villa sales, ancillary sales and booking conversion.
- Professionally and effectively handling telephone, email and live chat conversations with customers to discuss travel plans, itineraries, and making suggestions or provide alternatives.
- Forming an effective sales pitch, handling objections and negotiation to close sales.
- Provide customers with well-presented itineraries and descriptive and persuasive covering emails in a timely fashion.
- Confirming clients holiday reservations, ensuring you are selling through service.
- Payment processing and advising of booking terms and conditions.
- Upselling Solmar Villa products throughout the booking process.
- Demonstrating expert product and destination knowledge.
Your Key skills
- Strong commercial awareness and decision making/negotiation skills.
- Information gathering and interpretation - the ability to take basic information from any source and to add value by way of effective presentation, formatting and insight.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A passion to learn about our destinations and villa portfolio.
- Organised, with great time management skills and ability to prioritise own workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Participate in developing a proactive teamwork culture.
- Confident using computers and software/systems such as Microsoft Office
Location
We have a hybrid working model where you will be based in our offices in Burton-Upon-Trent Monday to Wednesday and work from home on any other days. You will require wi-fi and a suitable workspace in your own home but we will provide your technical equipment needed for the role.
We work on a rota basis, so you don't work every weekend, but some weekend work will be required. The team cover the phones between the hours of 8am to 8pm on a rota basis, so your 7.5-hour shift will fall within these hours. We are flexible and will always look to support certain hours that may suite individuals wherever possible.
Pay
£26,000.00 per year (increasing to £28,000 after successful completion of probation) with a potential £2,000 bonus if all targets are met.
