Tree Establishment Operative – Scale 2, + 2 IVA’s:
- 1 x 2 Year Fixed Term Position, Highways Ground Maintenance
Greenwich values its trees and takes pride in planting and caring for them, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard for the benefit and enjoyment of all and in combatting the effects of climate change.
In order to assist us in this important role, we are seeking enthusiastic and experienced person who has the relevant knowledge in Tree Establishment and aftercare. You should be experienced in general aspects of horticulture and with working with the public.
Your duties will the planting of new street trees, tree watering throughout the Summer months, formative pruning and general grounds maintenance operations across the Borough using the relevant tools and equipment provided whilst ensuring the safety of the public and the workforce at all times.
A full driving licence (B+E) is essential for the towing of a water bowser.
