Our client is an established firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors. They advise both UK corporates and individuals on bespoke tax solutions and provide tax dispute resolution services & professional trustee services. The firm now seeks to appoint a Trust Advisor to manage and develop an existing portfolio of trusts.
As Trust Advisor, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of employee and family trusts
- Complete trust accounts and related tax returns
- Ensure that TRS/CRS/FATCA requirements are met
- Prepare trustee documents
- Liaise with beneficiaries, property managers, investment managers and financial advisors
- Manage private client matters
- Advise on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax
- Assist with related planning aspects and opportunities
- Ensure adherence to all compliance and legislative requirements
- Contribute to the growth of the practice
- Liaise with staff in both the Newcastle and London office and other professional advisors
As Trust Advisor, you will need:
- Knowledge of various types of trust and trust structures
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- A comprehensive knowledge of trust management requirements, e.g. trustee fiduciary duties and compliance
- TEP/ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA or legal qualification (preferred)
