Zachary Daniels are excited to be retained by a High Growth Hospitality Chain. The client is currently experiencing huge growth and this role will provide strategic leadership, direction, and effective management to ensure the overall success and profitability for the UK sites. You will be working collaboratively alongside Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Facilities.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Managing Director or someone who has been operating at Director level ready to take the next step. You will be experienced within the Hospitality, Food and Drink industry and will have worked in a corporate leadership role responsible for multiple sites UK wide.

Reporting into the COO, you will have financial responsibility for 70+ sites with more to be built in the pipeline, with a current P&L of £70million. The UK is the most profitable region for the business, so this role comes with great exposure and an opportunity not to be missed!

The role of the UK Managing Director:

• Develop and execute the company's strategic plan, considering the unique aspects of the UK F&B industry.
• Monitor changes in consumer behaviour, industry trends, and regulatory updates affecting the F&B sector in the UK.
• Oversee day-to-day operations focusing on compliance with the UK health and safety standards, food regulations and other relevant legislation.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and food safety practices to ensure food products' highest quality and consistency.
• Develop and manage the company's budget, considering UK-specific financial regulations and reporting standards. P&L responsibility for £70million.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address operational inefficiencies and food safety concerns.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement and develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and commercial teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.

The successful Managing Director will have/be:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Proven experience in a senior leadership position within the UK F&B sector.
• Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategies that drive profitability and customer satisfaction
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent culinary knowledge and experience in menu development and pricing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, point-of-sale systems, and food safety regulations
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices
