This is a majority office-based role however when operations permit, hybrid working is currently available up to two days a week
The Economics Department is seeking to appoint an Undergraduate Operations Manager to join our established Academic Office.
The Undergraduate Operations Manager manages a team of three and has professional responsibility for the administration and coordination of the full range of undergraduate activity within the Department of Economics, under the guidance of the Academic Office Manager, including oversight of the management of the internal procedures for admissions, teaching, examination processes, scholarships and funding.
The principal duties assigned to this post are both complex and varied and the post holder will need to fully acquaint themselves with the central regulations governing the undergraduate administration, as well as local policies operating within the Social Sciences Division and the Department of Economics.
The post holder will act as the primary point of reference to all matters relating to undergraduate administration within the department and, as a senior and experienced administrator, will provide general guidance on undergraduate matters within the departmental administrative team.

The role is full-time with the professional services team’s core office hours of 10-4pm with some flexibility on start and finish times around these hours to for example complement caring responsibilities.
The post is full-time and permanent.
