SalaryJob Title:Underwriting Finance Business Partner
Duration: 8 months with the potential to go permanent
Rate/Salary: £70,000-110,000 (dependent upon experience) plus bonus
Location: London based (2-3 days office/home working)
The Role:
- Produce / review the quarterly reporting presentations and analysis to support the business in:
- Understanding the quarterly result
- Assessing the drivers of performance and suggest actions where required
- Writing commentary on the UK result on a regular basis for submission to the Executive Board and local UK reporting pack
- Educating the business to build financial acumen across the business teams to enable stakeholders to interpret the results themselves which will lead to better underwriting decisions in the future
- Create the infrastructure for efficient planning and forecasting processes, including building and consolidating templates
- Produce plan and forecast exec review packs
- Building profit commission models for the planning and reporting process
The Candidate:
- Part-qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA)
- Must have UK Insurance industry experience (ideally Lloyd's)
- Must have experience working with Underwriters or Underwriting departments
