A busy Local Authority is currently recruiting for an Interim Local Plan Team Leader to join the team for an initial 3-months, although the contract will extend beyond until the completion of the Local Plan. They are looking to get someone started quickly!
Job role: Local Plan Team Leader
Location: Home Counties
Type: Local Authority
Contract: 3-month rolling (will go on for at least 1 year)
Rate: Negotiable (between £450-£500 per day)
Office presence: 2 X per week
Job details:
- Local Plan in reg 18 and will be ready for consultation later in the year.
- Leading and managing the Local Plan with one direct report and two indirect reports.
- Representing the council in formal proceedings such as examination.
- Provide advice to members of the public and colleagues.
- Reporting into the Planning Policy Manager.
