As the Upper KS2 Year Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of teachers within the upper Key Stage 2 phase. Your role will involve overseeing the academic and pastoral well-being of students, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the overall development of our school community.

Position: Upper KS2 Year Group Leader
Location: Hornchurch
Salary Scale: £140-£250 per day
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:

• As an Upper KS2 Year Group Leader you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of teachers within the Upper KS2 phase.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons for Upper KS2 students.
• As an Upper KS2 Year Group Leader you will foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Oversee the academic progress and pastoral care of students in the Upper KS2Year Group.
• As an Upper KS2 Year Group Leader you will conduct regular team meetings and professional development sessions.
• Collaborate with school leadership to implement school policies and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Key Stage 2 Teacher is essential.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to the educational success of students.
