Urgent Care Physician

I am exclusively working on an exciting opportunity available in North Dublin for an Urgent Care Physician, starting in April 2024.

Details:

* Renumeration € Apply per annum (before taxes)

* 20 paid annual leave days plus 10 public holidays each calendar year

* Doctors can choose one of four Health Insurance options and this will be paid in full by the Company.

* Pension contribution (optional) - 5% Employee contribution and 5% Employer contribution.

* Income Protection cover.

* €5,000 bonus after 2 Years' Service with the Company.

* €10,000 bonus after 3 Years' Service with the Company and every year after that.

* Further Education Grant of €1,500 per year.

* 24-month contract.

* 3-month termination notice required

* Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 10am to 10pm, Saturday/Sunday 10am to 10pm

* A 39-hour working week across these opening times

* Medical Indemnity Insurance - details to be provided

Responsibilities

* Clinically evaluate and manage patients (12 months+) presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.

* Interpret x-rays and diagnose musculoskeletal injuries and fracture.

* Initial management of minor orthopaedic injuries.

* Experience in the management of minor injuries including suturing.

* Work as part of the team with nursing staff, administration and radiology.

* Liaise with the Clinical Operations Director in relation to clinical protocols, patient injury policies or patient related issues or queries.

Requirements:

* Irish Medical Council registration.

* At least 3 years' experience in emergency medicine.

* Prior Irish or UK experience (an advantage)

* Experience in Urgent Care, ED or GP is desirable.

* Paediatric training/experience would be beneficial.
