Vat Accountant

A well-known global music business is looking for a VAT Accountant to join their dynamic team!
This is an excellent opportunity for one to work within one of the biggest Media companies within the merchandise department. You will be responsible for the smooth reporting of VAT for their music tours and merchandise sales.

Key responsibilities:

• VAT Returns for the businesses - preparation, analysis, submission & reconciliation.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• EC Sales and Acquisitions List & Intrastat reporting
• Tracking stock movements for reporting purposes
• Liaising with external VAT providers for the submission
• Ensure VAT related payments are made on time
• Supporting Tax audits & queries
• Assist with VAT registrations
• Seek improvements in processes and procedures to help manage the function in a more efficient manner

Key requirements:

• Music/Touring and/or experience with EU Vat Reporting
• Experience working within a similar role within the Music/Entertainment industry is preferred
• Ability to build strong working relationships with creative individuals
• Eager to develop and will gain great exposure to the ever-changing VAT environment of VAT Compliance, Controllership, Advisory & Technology
