Vehicle Admin Assistant Vacancy (Part-Time) - Northampton Main Dealer

• £12 an hour 
• Part-Time, 25-30 hours per week

My client is looking for a Vehicle Admin Assistant at their main dealership in Northampton. You will become part of a hard-working sales team, looking to achieve the best possible results for their customers. Previous administration experience in the motor trade is essential to be successful within this Admin Assistant role.
You will play a crucial role in supporting our dealership operations, responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to vehicle sales and customer service. You will be working for a tight knit company who look after their employees and pride themselves on exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Admin Assistant:

• Assist the Vehicle Administrator in all aspects of Vehicle Administration and provide coverage during holiday periods.
• Process warranty claims for the site efficiently and accurately.
• Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger during holiday periods, ensuring continuity of financial operations.
• Greet customers at the front desk in a friendly and professional manner, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.
• Assist the Service Department reception by engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and efficiently booking in jobs.

Requirements for this Vehicle Admin Assistant role:

• Previous experience of administration within the motor trade is beneficial 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
