As our Vehicle Logistics Support Coordinator, you will support the process for Daimler Truck UK Direct Sales Business from the point of order through to invoice and delivery. Support in the coordination of the Truck Demonstration fleet, to include maintenance, compliance, logistics, fleet onboards/de fleeting and reporting. Support in day-to-day monitoring and co-ordination of our Vehicle Logistics activities, to include delivery and movement of New, Used, and demonstrator vehicles, acting as the primary point of contact for our dealer network, bodybuilders, internal colleagues, and 3PL partners. Manage relationships with our dealer network and Daimler Truck UK colleagues to ensure a highly efficient demo booking process, managing any un-planned issues that occur, and using these scenarios to help prevent future re-occurrence. To participate in a continuous improvement culture through best practice sharing, and involvement in improvement projects.

Weekly Hours: 30 hours

The validation of all Direct Sales orders from a compliance and legal contract perspective. Ordering of Direct Sales vehicles and tracking of production for delivery to the UK. Creation of Purchase Orders for work to be carried out on Direct Sales Vehicles. Working with our Facility at Wentworth Park & our Dealer Network to arrange PDI, Supplier fitments & Registration of Direct Sales vehicles. Carry out invoicing and arrange delivery to end customer. Completing Internal and External Customer reports on an AD Hoc basis.

Administration of the Demonstration Booking System, including the addition of new trucks, and maintenance of the website to ensure that it is up to date. Administration of Maintenance Schedules on Demo vehicles in Truckfile & work alongside Wentworth Park workshop/Admin to ensure Maintenance is completed. Support the management of the Demonstration mailbox for bookings/queries and responses in a timely manner. Conduct frequent Review meetings with Wentworth Park Workshop, Marketing & Product teams. Support in completing Internal and External Customer reports on an AD Hoc basis. Creation of Purchase Order for work to be carried out on Demo Vehicles. Arranging movements of the Demo Fleet where required.

Administration support of chassis movements to ensure deliveries to destination within agreed time windows using agreed methods of transportation. To provide up to date delivery progress information to key internal colleagues, to facilitate accurate internal reporting. To provide support to unplanned events, to find a mutually acceptable resolution in an acceptable timeframe, using all available resources, and to update Key Stakeholders accordingly. To provide regular updates to all stakeholders concerning chassis progress, using all available resources. Support the damage claim process, working with key stakeholders to provide an efficient and seamless resolution to issues that occur. First level support to the dealer network for all Vehicle Logistics queries.

Proactively engaging with the dealer network to encourage 360-degree feedback. Maintaining and creating existing relationships with Internal Customers (DTUK Employees) and External Customers (Dealer Network, Bodybuilders, Logistics Companies) to ensure the Direct Sales, Demonstration Programme & Vehicle Logistics Operation are successful. Support in on site meetings/visits where required.


About you


More about what you should be able to demonstrate:


Ø Previous experience of similar Co-Ordinator Role.
Ø Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in parallel and prioritize own workload.
Ø Strong reporting skills, and the ability to create new reports to highlight relevant issues to a high degree of accuracy.
Ø A pro-active approach to rapidly changing situations, whilst working to tight deadlines
Ø Ability to build and maintain cross departmental relationships.
Ø MS Office to intermediate level (preferred).
Ø Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Ø To work efficiently as part of a team as well as individually.
Ø Able to communicate effectively at all levels and in all situations.
Ø Flexible approach to working hours.
