Role Purpose
Lead the Carnaby & Soho Villages. Role reports to Property Management Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team of 4 Property Managers
- Line management of 2 Property Managers
- Development and growth 4 Property Managers
- Accountability for overall performance of Facilities Management, Residential and Property Management Accounting team working across Village
- Work with Strategic Account Lead, Property Management Lead, Facilities Management Lead and Property Management Accounting Lead to implement a standard Operating Model, which aligns with client expectations
- Build a high performing Village team who; follow Operating Model, meet or surpass KPIs and meet or surpass client and occupier expectations
- Lead attraction and retention of PM talent within Carnaby & Soho
- Cascade key messages to team, ensuring understanding and engagement
- Build strong working relationships with key client stakeholders
- Manage escalations beyond Village Property and Facilities Managers
- Oversee Village Management Meetings. Ensure are team prepared.
- Lead service charge budgeting and reconciliation process across Village in accordance with RICS guidelines and client instruction, alongside on-site teams.
- Oversee management of key occupier relationships including occupier meetings as required.
- Understand Property Management Agreement terms and ensure that Property Management team is working to scope. Flag scope change requests to Property Management Lead and work together to agree way forward
- Ensure 100% of billable ad-hoc fees are billed by Village Property Managers
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue, through additional PMA services, Added Value Services team or wider CBRE business – Focus on quality
- Input to client business and strategic planning for Village, where requested
- Call out and celebrate success within Property Management team/ Village
Person Specification/Requirements
- MRICS preferred but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen/ awareness
- Works collaboratively as part of a leadership team
- Passionate about delivering for clients, CBRE and team
- Ability to manage a large team (direct and indirect reports)
- Awareness of trends within Property Management
- Understands CBRE lines of business and services
- Understands challenges and creates solutions
- Assertive and confident where needed to protect interests
- Pro-active approach with ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
