Sir Harold Hillier Gardens (SHHG) is an esteemed arboretum sprawled across 180 acres, boasting a diverse collection of over 42,000 trees and shrubs. Notably, our collection includes a remarkable array of oaks, camellias, magnolias, and rhododendrons. Founded in 1977 by Sir Harold Hillier, the Gardens were established as a charitable trust, with Hampshire County Council assuming the role of sole trustee. The trust’s primary objective is to perpetuate Sir Harold's legacy by nurturing and enhancing the Gardens for the benefit of the people.
Over the last two decades, visitor numbers and memberships have increased significantly, requiring us to expand our team to meet our visitors’ changing needs and further develop our internationally renowned collection.
We seek a dynamic and experienced Visitor Services and Administration manager to ensure every visitor enjoys an exceptional experience and lead our Administration Team.
