About the role:
As our Warehouse Assistant, you will help provide excellent service to our customers. You will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, occasionally providing support with ad-hoc driving duties.
Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Assistant will include:
- Picking and checking orders.
- Serving customers on the trade counter.
- Assisting with stock control.
- Receiving goods and deliveries.
- Completing deliveries and collections as required.
- Supporting the office with phone and email enquiries on an ad-hoc basis.
- Ensuring vending machines are fully stocked at both branches and customer locations by managing inventory levels and making site visits for delivery and loading.
Skills & attributes we're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant:
- Clean driving licence.
- FLT licence is desirable, however, not essential as training can be provided.
- Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good level of communication and numerical skills.
