Our client is looking to appoint a Warehouse Manager in Ipswich, who can oversee the production stores, Goods Inwards, and Stock Control teams in a complex product manufacturing environment. You should have ambition and proven experience in leading and managing these teams effectively.

Duties:
- Ensuring timely and accurate booking and management of parts deliveries through goods inwards and fast-tracking urgent parts to the production lines as needed.
- Leading a small team of warehouse colleagues in putting away, picking, and transporting parts and kits to and from the production lines.
- Leading the Stock Control function in ensuring high stock accuracy and alignment with the production line work in progress and line stock. This involves maintaining and developing robust processes to ensure SAP data accuracy and integrity.
- Liaising with other departments to identify and resolve root causes of stock inaccuracy and prevent recurrence.
- Managing weekly cycle counting of stock and any annual or full stock takes as required. Completing any stock adjustments in accordance with approved processes.
- Managing the racking and shelving storage capacity in the stores to meet current and future requirements. This involves establishing processes for forward planning and managing load by using external warehousing companies as necessary.
- Managing offsite warehousing and logistics to suit business needs.
- Planning and overseeing the picking and packing of spare parts from system-generated planned orders and transporting them to the finished goods warehouse.
- Ensuring forklift truck daily checks, racking and ladder inspections are carried out in compliance with H&S processes and procedures.
- Ensuring appropriate SAP skills development of all colleagues in the production warehouse and support personnel.
- Ensuring all colleagues have the appropriate level of pallet and forklift truck training.
- Ensuring all Quality and Health Safety and Welfare policies and procedures are followed, and all staff have the correct training and records.
Please Note: You should have expertise in SAP and low volume manufacturing. One of the key aspects of the role is managing the cleansing of SAP (ERP System) data to ensure the stock is accurate and well-maintained.
