An experienced Warehouse Manager with great people skills and team management skills to lead a growing warehouse for a fantastic business.
Who you'll be working for:
Our client is a leading distributor who is looking to expand their team. They are hoping to find a brilliant Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse and logistics team. In return they are offering a competitive salary and fantastic working environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and maintaining stock accuracy within the warehouse.
- Generating reports and following up for any stock discrepancies and picking errors.
- Aiming to continuously improve the warehouses productivity.
- Creating a safe working environment for all warehouse operatives within the warehouse.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with people at all levels across the business.
What we need from you:
- Experience of working within a high-volume warehouse environment.
- The ability to lead and engage a team.
- Strong communications skills in order to build strong relationship with key stakeholders both inside and outside of the business,
- An understanding of using quality principles, continuous improvement and other associated tools and techniques.
- Computer literate being fully conversant in MS Excel.
- Commitment to learning and development of the team and yourself.
