What is the role?
The London Graphic Centre is embarking upon an ambitious growth strategy, and to support this, the Operations Manager will be focused on creating an industry-leading experience for our customers, managing the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse and logistics team and customer service activities within a successful multi-channel business.
You will provide your team with clear leadership, communication, guidance, and support to ensure the right process and procedures are followed and performance metrics are achieved.

What will your key responsibilities be?
- Lead and develop the Warehouse and Customer Service teams.
- Create and implement KPIs across the team to drive performance and efficiencies.
- Understand the DC processes and flow of work through the operation to implement a continuous improvement methodology.
- Oversee the Pick, Pack and dispatch of E-commerce Orders, ensuring that all orders are shipped within target times.
- Ensure Goods-In processes (booking in deliveries / dealing with discrepancies, etc) are happening within agreed timeframes.
- Stock Management (including responsibility for annual stocktake)
- Ensure that all Health and Safety Policies and Practices are rigorously complied with and improved to achieve a safe working environment within the business.
- Ensure regular reviews take place across key areas that encourage the diversity of thinking to drive commercial and operational improvements.
- Complete team 1-1's to improve performance and personal development.
What are we looking for from you?
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- A strong people manager with experience of running a team across multiple departments
- The ability to motivate, mentor and coach team members to be highly organised with a structured, professional way of working
- A self-starter, with a hands-on approach
- Experience in the retail e-commerce sector is essential
