Core Responsibilities and Duties:

• Learning maintenance processes
• Adherence of work procedures for the Swindon Warehouse and making recommendations and improvements
• Ensuring the Warehouse Management System is used effectively to support operations

The monitoring and ongoing improvement of warehouse practices for material control, accountability and storage

• Correct implementation of procedures by warehouse staff including Risk Assessments
• To manage the cross-docking of any materials ordered from vendors for onward shipment to out stations
• Participate in JOFS out of hours call out process

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with at least 3 years under their belt (including 1 year supervisory). The ideal candidate will have an excellent awareness of Health and Safety issues supported by relevant qualifications. They will be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. they will have experience of Warehouse Management Systems, a high degree of IT literacy and the ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of spreadsheets.

A full, clean UK Driver’s License is required

Must be qualified to operate Forklifts
