We are looking for an Energetic, Passionate, Hands On shift Manager required to lead our Early Shift. Successful applicant should have be able to evidence experience of the following:
- Warehouse leadership
- Management of a diverse operational team
- Lean Management/Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement
- Focused on delivering a high standard of customer service.
In addition to the day to day shift management responsibilities (below), the successful applicant will be expected to:
- Use Lean/CI principles to evaluate all processes to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity
- Demonstrate a bias for action in implementing change
- Challenge existing and legacy processes
Responsibilities
- To ensure smooth running of day to day goods in & replenishment operation
- Ensure a safe working environment for team, and embed a culture of safety throughout
- Meet performance and quality targets on a daily basis
- Work collaboratively across the operations team to provide high levels of certainty and industry leading levels of customer service.
- Manage, support and develop your team, whilst adhering to company policies.
- Ensure team culture is inclusive and respectful at all times
- Provide training, coaching and feedback to team to ensure deliverables are met.
- Ensure excellent general warehouse house-keeping, 5S and hygiene.
- Close co-operation with Purchasing, Customer Service and Stock Control
- Work with Senior Management to ensure required levels of resource throughout year.
- Allocate duties and responsibilities as required
- Oversee training of new team members
- Develop and upskill the team to improve capability and flexibility
- Embed a culture of innovation across shift
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication Skills (Must be fluent in English)
- Have full driving licence/own transport (due to location/hours)
- Experience in a similar environment required
- Change Implementation experience
Monday-Friday Shift Pattern 05:00-06:00 Start

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
