Senior Passenger Operations Manager
The Opportunity:
Are you our next Senior Passenger Operations Manager. We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for our Passenger Operations team.

What's the role?
To deliver an efficient, effective, and safe passenger operation and provide leadership and management to the operational team.
To ensure the operational readiness of the operational infrastructure and teams including oversight of training and EHS
As part of the Pax Ops Leadership Team, play a central role in the development & delivery of strategic plans and initiatives.
What you'll be doing?
- Accountable for the performance of the operational teams and the delivery of an efficient and effective operation
- Accountable for leadership and performance management of the operational team
- Responsible for the departmental EHS strategy and safety culture, promoting safe working practices and a safe environment for all passengers and staff.
- Accountable for ensuring the operational team can meet current and future demand through effective forward planning including resource planning, productivity initiatives, recruitment and training.
- Operational contact for airlines, GHAs and relevant government agencies driving collaborative working to provide a high level of service and identifying & delivering change to improve performance.
- Operational oversight and coordination of service delivery contracts, working with the commercial team to ensure cost effective delivery and performance.
- Responsible for monitoring passenger service standards and identifying & escalating actions required to maintain required standards.
- Responsible for correct financial management of assigned budgets
- Ensure appropriate planning, preparation and contingencies are in place to respond to and support incident management.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Proven experience of working in an operational leadership role with strong people management skills
- Ability to influence and communicate operational & commercial business issues effectively up to Exec level.
- Ability to complete and present management & operational reports to a high standard of accuracy.
- Commercial acumen and prior experience of budgetary responsibility
- Experience of leading & creating empowered and high performing operations
- Data literate with good analytical skills to drive performance improvement.
- Experienced in operating and delivering change within a unionised environment.
- Ability to develop novel approaches to existing process and procedure to drive change.
- Ability to develop and deliver change and drive continuous improvement.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
