We are seeking a Group Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversight across our patient-facing, clinical, financial, and personnel operations. This role is integral to the implementation of our business plan and the achievement of key performance targets, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collaborate with the managing partner and Group Finance Manager to uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with NHS primary healthcare policies and external regulatory bodies.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and oversee spending across practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with HR advisors to optimise workforce management and conduct staff interviews.
- Support the Managing Partner and Group Finance Manager with group expansion and practice mergers.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, data analysis, and project management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure effective communication and process improvement direction.
- Represent the organisation in community outreach programmes and committees.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy towards staff and patients.
- Strong communication, critical thinking skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations independently.
- Broad appreciation of NHS primary care operations.
- Knowledge of practice management, regulatory compliance, and IT systems (e.g., SystmOne, Microsoft Office).
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Education to degree standard with at least 5 years of management experience.
- Experience in finance and HR is essential.
