Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Handballing Containers

Agency Work on behalf of MCF - full time hours offered and with the opportunity of a full contract over time.

Location: Aintree

Pay: £10.75 per hour raising in April 2024

Hours: 40 Hours per week Any 5 from 7 days. Shift work rotated Bi-Weekly 6am-2pm / 12pm- 8pm shift patterns or times in between.

THE BRIEF - We are looking for experienced all-round warehouse operatives to work in this award winning family run business. Experience with working towards targets and exceeding them by working at speed and accuracy at the same time.

There is an element of stock control involved as well each handballing containers as and when they arrive. Checking items against the paperwork provided by the client to ensure what is expected has been received, any variances are reported to the Supervisor immediately.

As a vital cog in the engine you will support the Supervisor in this role to ensure all your objectives are met consistently and within the desired time-scales.

Day to Day jobs are as follows:

Picking and or Packing orders with speed and accuracy
Support the Supervisor in handballing products of containers
You may will be required to use a hand scanner to pick items
Be able to use a PC on the packing benches
B2C orders - hit daily targets set out for you by Supervisor with consistency
B2B orders - you will be required to pick and palletise large B2B orders as per the clients specification requirements
Continually monitor progress against plan ensuring high standards of performance are achieved
Ensure all Trade Orders are completed accurately and on time
Continual liaison with Operations Support to schedule work in the correct sequence.
Complete warehouse tasks on time and to a high standard
Be flexible and able to work over 2 different shift patterns but prepared to stay later as and when required
Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times
Maintain excellent housekeeping and site safety standards
