Hours of work: 37 per week (averaged out over the year)
Summer: April – Sept 383/4 per week
Winter: Oct – Mar 351/4 per week

As part of Bereavement services team, we are dedicated to managing and enhancing our existing cemeteries and bringing them into line with other green spaces making for a safe, green and accessible environment for everyone within the city for generations to come.
A vacancy currently exists within Bereavement services, and we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a horticultural background to lead and deliver a high-quality cemetery maintenance and horticultural service throughout our 16 cemeteries city wide.
As a Working Team Leader you’ll be expected to supervise and work with a dedicated team, contribute to improvement works throughout all cemeteries and continually monitor the cost-effective use of vehicles, plant, equipment and materials. Have a good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety, risk assessments and experience of using a wide range of horticultural machinery.
