Due to the rapid growth of our client’s world-leading and extensive X-Ray product fleet, an exciting opportunity as an X-Ray Account Manager is now available within their well-established and high-performing team across the Midlands.

Our client, a world-renowned medical imaging company, is going through a period of huge growth and has witnessed 50% growth year on year for the past 3 years. They are looking to grow their family-owned company further and are keen to ensure they have the best team to take their market-leading products to market.
The role
As an X-Ray Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and maintaining existing accounts across the Midlands. You will develop a strong understanding of the X-Ray product portfolio and build long-term relationships with customers. You will be working closely with dedicated Applications Specialists, receiving support from them with pre- and post-sales to help you deliver a strong sales output for your region.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
- Maintaining a sales forecast across the accounts
- Coordinating all internal resources
- Ensuring quotations are completed and delivered on time
- Building a strong understanding of the X-Ray product portfolio
- Managing post-sales customer product and applications training
- Ensuring customer expectations are being met
The requirements
You’ll have experience within the X-ray sector (clinically or commercially), as well as…
- Degree-level educated
- Good sales experience, ideally with Radiology Imaging Systems/Medical equipment
- Excellent understanding of the medical imaging market
- Able to develop strong sales strategies and implement them tactically
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer-facing
- Capable of managing own diary and operating in a field-based role
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- A fast learner who presents a proactive approach, open-minded and independent
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid driver’s licence and willing to travel frequently within your territory
