Federation Class Teacher Post
Temporary contract to 31st August 2025
Initially to be based at Thurstonland First School
Full Time Class Teacher - to commence September 2024 to teach a mixed age class of Year 2 and 3 pupils initially based at Thurstonland First School. This post is on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2025 in the first instance.
Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers are most welcome to apply. We welcome applications from teachers interested in part time or full-time working arrangements.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly-motivated teacher to join our caring, supportive and dedicated team of federation staff. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner who will nurture our children and provide them with an exciting, engaging curriculum and outstanding learning experiences. You will work within a federation planning team alongside experienced staff who can support the successful candidate as a member not only of the school team but a vertical support network of teachers working across the federation. It is essential that the successful candidate holds high expectations of pupil achievement and is passionate about enabling all children to achieve their full potential. We are looking for a warm, friendly and ambitious teacher who can work well as part of a small team of staff within a wider team across the Federation.
The successful candidate will join our friendly and happy federation team and a thriving partnership of three small rural schools in south Kirklees. We can offer a strong, dedicated team approach with supportive colleagues, leaders, parents and governors.
