Yard Sales Assistant/Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Yard Sales Assistant/Driver at Harlow Bros Nottingham, NG3 2NJ. This is a fast-paced working environment working within a well-established team.

The hours of work are 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm

You will report to the Branch Manager

Starting rate: £11.44 per hour

We are looking for someone with the following experience/qualifications:

· Driving License

· Basic literate and numerate ability

· Physical ability to work manually and at the required pace

· Ability to provide a courteous and professional approach to customers

· Ability to self-motivate, organise, and execute tasks

· Ability to work safely and cleanly

Desirable but non-essential experience/qualifications:

· Timber knowledge

· Machine capability

· Forklift License

· Manual Handling Training

As a role your primary responsibilities would be:

· To focus on load security & highway laws and drive safely and efficiently to delivery destinations and in reasonable time

· To provide a prompt, polite, helpful and professional service to customers in branch and at delivery destinations, always promoting a positive company image

· Identifying, picking, processing, and issuing goods accurately and to deadlines, working from written pick notes and job sheets

· Manual rack filling with timber and sheet materials

· Housekeeping of warehouses and yard
