Macildowie are currently working with a council in the North West of England who are seeking an experienced Interim Year-End Closure Accountant to support their finance team during a critical period.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare year-end financial statements and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information
- Qualified accountant (CPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience in year-end financial closure for a Council
