Residential Services offers accommodation for over 8500 students across 3 main residential sites, our diverse population includes those attending a course in preparation for university study, undergraduates and postgraduates from both the UK and other parts of the world. In addition we offer a range of accommodation options during the summer vacation period for both students and conferences.
A vacancy has arisen within the Accommodation Office Team for an Administrator to work within our busy office environment, reporting to the Accommodation Office Manager the post holder will provide front line administrative support for business critical activities. The Accommodation Office Administrator role also provides first point of contact for all enquiries – internal and external – coming into the Accommodation Office.
The post holder will primarily work Monday to Friday, but some weekend working will be required as business demands.
To be part of our team you need to be friendly, welcoming and responsive to customer needs, providing excellence in Customer Service at all times with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential attributes for this role, along with a good understanding of IT-based systems, with an ability to develop and effectively manage administration procedures as well as experience within a busy office environment.
